Meccha Chameleon Server Not Showing — Empty Room List
The public lobby/server browser is empty or rooms refuse to appear when you refresh.
When the Meccha Chameleon server not showing problem appears, the list is usually being filtered, blocked by a firewall, or affected by a region/Steam outage. These steps get the room list populating again.
How to set it up

Clear lobby filters and refresh
Reset every filter in the server browser (region, game mode, "not full", password). An overly strict filter is the most common reason no rooms show. Then hit Refresh and wait a few seconds for results.

Check your region selection
A region with few players can look empty. Switch the lobby region to a busier one (or "Auto/Global") to confirm rooms exist, then pick the closest populated region for low ping.

Allow the game and Steam through your firewall
A firewall or VPN can silently block the server query. Allow both Meccha Chameleon and Steam through Windows Defender Firewall, and temporarily disable any VPN to test whether the list fills in.

Check for a Steam or game-server outage
If everyone's list is empty at once, it is likely a backend outage. Check the Steam status page and the game's community/announcements; if servers are down, simply wait and retry later.

Restart Steam networking
Fully quit Steam, then in Settings → Downloads change your Download Region to a nearby one and "Clear Download Cache". Sign back in — this refreshes Steam's matchmaking connection and often restores the list.

- The difference is almost always your filters, region, or a local firewall/VPN. Match your friend's region, clear all filters, and disable any VPN to compare.
- Can I still play if the server list never loads?
- Yes — invite Steam friends directly or host your own private lobby. That bypasses the public browser entirely while you sort out the list.
