Classic hiding guide

Drifters' Haven should be strongest around foliage overlap, rocks and uneven ground. Avoid clean skylines and open paths.

Bush and trunk overlap

Let foliage break your edge while a trunk or fence explains your vertical line.

Rock and boulder edges

Match stone colors and keep movement low; rocks are checked less often than obvious bushes.

Fence and barn perimeters

Perimeters create shadow bands and repeated posts that make a still pose believable.

Open the map in a private lobby and walk one full hunter route before choosing a spot.

Run one hunter sweep with a friend. If they find you in under 15 seconds, move one prop row deeper or switch angle.

Hunter check

A good spot survives the first centerline scan, a side-angle pass and one close flashlight-style inspection. Fail any one of those and mark it as a risky trick spot, not a staple.
